Eaternity helps us understand the environmental impacts of our eating habits


Climate-KIC-supported Eaternity has published a new report, “Smart Chefs: health, climate and sustainability,” which finds that reducing the carbon footprint of our diet also reduces the impact of other environmental indicators, however, potential conflicts exist with animal welfare, tropical deforestation, and water scarcity.

The report stresses the need to reduce diet-related disease risk, while also detailing the climate potential in eating a healthier diet. Read the report here.
